For the past several017 years we have been helping the USAF Air Traffic Controllers at SHAW Air Force Base throw a party. This is our way to say thank you for your service.

This year mother nature tried to shutdown the event that was planned as a pig roast with outdoor games. BIG rain –no worries. The group secured a hanger location and brought the party inside. Chief Kirby said thank you and wanted all to know the day was a success and that the service members and their families were all appreciative.

Money for this event comes from our own Bob Szymkiewicz. He started his ATC career in the USAF in 1980. Bob loved the Air Force and still enjoys being a controller. He thought this would be a great way to pay it forward. “These folks are supporting several wars and are often away from family for long periods. The Air Force is what made my life and I want these controllers to know they are appreciated.”
